The Telecommunication Department was established in 1976 and is one of four departments of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo. Since 2005, the teaching process has been aligned with the Bologna Declaration, and the study has been divided into bachelor’s and master’s programs. Bachelor’s study, in the duration of three years, focuses on establishing a foundation for engineering practice and fundamental telecommunication knowledge, and the program is accredited by ASIIN (“Accreditation Agency specializing in accreditation programs in engineering, informatics, mathematical sciences “) – the German member ENQA.
